i have learned to be alone. to follow but never to trust. to lead but never to expect.

i carry my own weight, and i will catch yours if you fall. but don't ever try to catch me. if i fall, i want to hit the ground.

no matter how perfect i make myself, i will never be perfect enough for you. i can see your thoughts but i can't read your mind.

i forgot to ask what you thought of brain tissue and mafia men in the form of a 1200 page novel
:icon007-fleetingpassions:
#1 - probably way too fucking long for the sort of people that will read something of that nature.
#2 - dubious science (even for the future)
#3 - somewhat typical relational conundrum
#4 - if written like the ferry story will be utterly devoid of the necessary suspense
C - unless carefully presented and ridiculously well written it will probably just end up being an absurdly long (though otherwise terribly typical) medical thriller never to rise above paperback. [not to be mean or over cynical]

:icon007-seriously-serial:
hey, what are the six most poetic words you know?
:icon007-fleetingpassions:
oh, now this is a challenge. dare i suggest that it is not a mere word but how a word is used and which other words it is aligned with that make it poetic? also, diction is incredibly situation specific so a word that might be poetic when describing rain, for example, might be utterly useless for describing the rush of danger. i will muse it over for a bit and try to come up with these most poetic of words but it would be immensely helpful if you gave me slightly narrower criteria. :)

p.s. one of my favourite words (not necessarily used poetically) is lapse, not sure why but it strikes a chord with me both lexically and phonetically.
